נשיא המדינה, ראובן (רובי) ריבלין, ביקר הערב, מוצאי שבת י"ד אלול, 17 בספטמבר, יחד עם מנכ״ל בית הנשיא הראל טובי וחברי צוות נוספים מבית הנשיא את הנשיא התשיעי של מדינת ישראל שמעון פרס ואת בני משפחתו ואנשי צוותו אשר יושבים כל העת ליד מיטת חוליו.

22. נשיא המדינה ריבלין יערוך מחר קבלת פנים ממלכתית לנשיא פרגוואי

נשיא המדינה, ראובן (רובי) ריבלין, יערוך מחר בשעה 9:30, קבלת פנים ממלכתית לנשיא פרגוואי, מר הוראסיו מנואל קארטס חארה, H.E. Horacio Manuel Cartes Jara, המגיע לביקור ממלכתי בישראל. נשיא פרגוואי יתקבל בטקס רשמי במהלכו יושמעו המנוני שתי המדינות, בהמשך שני הנשיאים יסקרו את משמר הכבוד הצה"לי ובסיום הסקירה יישאו הצהרות משותפות.

ר', תושב אזור הצפון, שביקש לגשת למיונים לקראת שליחות של רעייתו מטעם הסוכנות לחו"ל נתקל בקשיים, בשל רישום פלילי מתקופת שירותו הצבאי. עו"ד דנה נוף, פנתה בשמו לנשיא שמעון פרס, שקיבל את בקשתו לקיצור תקופת הרישום הפלילי

President_Peres_in_Holon_smallנשיא המדינה, שמעון פרס, התקבל בסוף השבוע בסיור ממלכתי שערך בעיר חולון, בנפנוף דגלים על ידי עשרות ילדי גנים שלבשו לכבודו לבן ושרו לו משירי חג הפסח הקרב ובא. בביקור אמר פרס כי: "בשנים האחרונות קיימת תופעה של פריחת הנוער בכל הארץ וחולון מובילה במגמה זו". ביקור הנשיא החל בתיאטרון חולון במפגש עם מאות תיכוניסטים מכל בתי הספר בעיר ובמופע התעמלות אמנותית, קצר ומרהיב של אירה ריסנזון, אשר ייצגה את ישראל באולימפידת בייג'ין. לאחריה הופיעה להקת תנועות הנוער, שהציגה קטעים נבחרים מתוך המופע "שווים" בהפקת מרכז שטיינברג. המשך המפגש הוקדש כולו לשאלות התלמידים שהופנו לנשיא פרס, רובן בענייני היום
